“The act of documenting extends beyond mere preservation; it becomes a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life, encapsulated in seemingly mundane moments. In incorporating ephemera into my art, these once mundane images find renewed meaning and purpose, transforming from forgotten and disposed memories to integral components of my compositions.”

"Here and Then, There and Now" is a documentation of personal encounters with anxiety during the post-pandemic era, through four metaphors: Water, Transit, Time-lapsed and Window. The amalgamation of which is a visual-audio expression of my experience of Sublime in contemporary Korea and Singapore. Imagery and sounds from various space and time dwells within a frame as I view myself reflected in the world full of signs and traces of inner significance. Through my extended rückenfigur, I am gaining back agency from the pain from the past into a deeper understanding of the connections of my self with the world and my future.
